There are many forces at work today that are shaping our world. Among them are globalization and its close companion, outsourcing. Others include specialization and Lean methodology. These are not new concepts. However, applying these concepts to the way that we live our individual lives is relatively new.
When one thinks of specialization, Henry Ford and the assembly line typically come to mind. Lean methods, for those familiar with the manufacturing industry, typically spark thoughts of the Toyota Production System. Modern globalization and outsourcing are typically associated with business processes. If these are more efficient aspects of modern business, why not apply them to the way we live our individual lives?
In Lean methodology, non-value added pieces of a process are eliminated in order to reduce cost. For professionals, time is extremely valuable since there typically isn't enough of it when working 60-80 hour weeks. Demanding professional schedules limit time spent on other, more enjoyable activities. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is imperative for prolonged success in this marathon called life. Delegate Source gives professionals the ability to DELEGATE:
1. those tasks that do not add value to their lives
2. those tasks that they would rather not do
3. those tasks that simply need to get done.
