Corporate Social Responsibility

At Delegate Source, we do not manufacture products or engage in significant energy usage. We are a service business and thus cannot have recycling metrics or significant energy reduction metrics. Below is a common diagram of the basic tenets of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Sustainability and how Delegate Source incorporates this into our management process.

1. Enabling stay at home parents to generate income while providing the parental attention necessary to better supplement their child's education. Having a majority of our customer service representatives be stay at home parents helps towards this end.1. With the advances in technology in the last 15 years, companies are able to operate outside the traditional brick and mortar structure of the past. At Delegate Source, our delegates and customer service representatives work remotely and do not occupy another building that requires heat and electricity. This also reduces emissions since our delegates do not have to commute to an office every day. In this virtual structure, we are linked through technology and house our database in our website host's secure facility in Denver. 1. This enables their success in a fast-paced global economy.
2. Many new graduates from college or current students face the challenge of finding an employer that is willing to provide the training and experience necessary to start their careers. Part of how Delegate Source makes its service more affordable is that we invest the time to develop our delegates. Building talent is always less expensive than buying it. For many delegates, Delegate Source is not a long-term career option but does provide the work experience and skills for them to be more competitive in the global economy.2. In addition to facilitating re-training and associated work experience, these transitioning delegates receive supplemental income. And thus, Delegate Source is a market solution to the workfare versus welfare debate. In order to deliver on this in any significant fashion, however, we Delegate Source needs volume in its membership.
3. There is a growing need for elder care and a gap in providing necessary services. Delegate Source's home health service works to address this gap.
